Folk Alliance International has announced its keynote presenters for the 2022 Conference to be held 18 to 22 May in Kansas City Missouri – beloved jazz and blues artist Madeleine Peyroux and folk icon Shirley Collins.

“In both an abundance of caution and as an evasive business viability decision, we have made the decision to move our upcoming conference by three months, from the original February dates to May 18-22, 2022.” – a statement from our partner organisation Folk Alliance International about its annual Conference.
The heralded event will be held in Kansas City, Missouri on the new dates.

Our aligned body Folk Alliance International (FAI) will be holding a hybrid version of its annual Conference in February 2022, both on-line and in-person at its regular location Kansas City, Missouri.
Recently announced by the FAI:
“To protect the health of all delegates, based on survey feedback, and in an abundance of caution regarding the ongoing pandemic, advance proof of vaccination will be required by every attendee at FAI’s 2022 in-person conference in Kansas City next February. Online access will be available for anyone who is not vaccinated or cannot attend.”
