The Boite is Victoria’s prominent multicultural music organisation.

Founded in 1979, the organisation supports artists from diverse cultural communities, promoting cultural understanding through the dynamic presentation of unique cultural experiences, and nurturing creativity, collaboration, access to and active participation in the arts.

Through its program of festivals, events, radio programs, music releases and publications The Boite has presented and promoted hundreds of excellent musicians born in over 100 different countries at over 5,000 events before audiences exceeding 800,000.

The Boite is putting in place a new project for singers. Our Freedom Road Gospel project has been twice postponed, and now will take place in Bendigo in May next year.

To give singers a project while we all wait to sing together again, The Boite has set up a virtual choir opportunity, singing Eric Bibb’s arrangement of “Just Keep Going On” with Geoffrey Williams in the lead.

Since virtual choirs are not constrained by Border Closures, the organisation would like to offer the opportunity nationally! If you know anyone who would enjoy singing with Geoffrey, and learning from the wonderful Stella Savy, please pass on the attached information.

Joining the project provides you with a workshop with Stella and access to the rehearsal resources for the song.
