Folk Alliance Australia Conference
The FAA team are working now to finalize a great program of workshops and presentations, wonderful speakers drawn from all areas of the Australian folk scene including Festival and Event organizers , Cultural and Arts Organizations, Agents, Artists, Producers and some wild card speakers from outside of our industry!
Amongst the guests joining us this year are representatives from Australia Council, Sounds Australia., Regional Arts Victoria, Apra/ Amos, Volunteering Victoria, Australian World Music Expo, Penney and Logan, Artists, Agents, Australian Folk Festival & more ….
Established and emerging Australian talent will be showcased throughout the week-end. As well , on Saturday evening we have secured a special guest performance by legendary Canadian blues performer Harry Manx whose expertise on the Mohan Veena is world renowned. And preceding Harry will be the conference dinner highlighted by our keynote speaker Eric Bogle – OAm and Patron go Folk Alliance Australia.
The conference will give members plenty of opportunity to mix and mingle with your colleagues, festival organizers and peers in the folk world, in a relaxed setting.

Accommodation at Urban Camp is in shared room ( 2- 6 people) with bunk beds. Bed linen and towels are provided. Shared toilet / shower facilities.
